Plinth-style Plyn tables: choose the format and material
Plinth-style tables make the surface and simple geometry the focus. That can produce a similar visual outline across products whose materials, heights and footprints differ substantially.
Use the product family name as a visual reference, then read the chosen listing. A low rectangular coffee table, square block and tall column play different roles beside seating.
Marble, steel, gloss and stone-effect concrete are not interchangeable
The Plyn 01 page explicitly offers Stainless Steel alongside marble options. Steel creates a reflective surface; marble introduces natural veining. They are not the same underlying material in different printed colors.
The Plyn Concrete description identifies a cast-concrete table with selected stone-effect finishes. Do not describe it as natural marble based solely on a stone name in its options. Grande and Column also include gloss-named options; check the exact construction instead of applying a natural-stone claim to every version.
Plyn 01, Square and Grande have different footprints
Plyn 01 measures 39.4 × 23.6 × 11.8 inches. The Plyn Square is 40 × 40 × 11.8 inches; the Plyn Grande measures 53.9 × 29.9 × 11 inches. The square top needs substantially more depth than Plyn 01 despite a similar width.
Compare the space between the seating and the route around the table. The Square listing gives a 390-pound product weight, so access and placement deserve attention. Do not assume that every similarly sized Plyn version has that same weight or construction.
Short and Column side tables differ in reach and height
The Plyn Short measures 15.75 inches in width, depth and height. The Plyn Column has a narrower 11.81-inch square footprint and a taller 20.08-inch height.
Choose by where the surface needs to sit relative to your chair or sofa. Short’s lower cube and Column’s taller pedestal create different reach and display positions. A common stone option can coordinate them visually, but confirm the exact selected finish.
Lea and Aris Sphere extend the selection
The Aris Sphere table is described as natural marble, with Modellato Marble and White Marble options. It offers a different sculptural form from the rectangular Plyn tables; check its own measurements before planning the same position.
The Lea corner module references Eave and lists a 40.5-inch square footprint with a 15.8-inch seat height. It is an individual corner component, not automatically a complete sofa or a compatible extension to every upholstered family.
Questions about Norm Architects–inspired furniture
Are all Plyn products natural marble? No. Plyn 01 includes steel, and Plyn Concrete is described as cast concrete with stone-effect finishes. Read the selected version.
Will marble match the photograph exactly? Natural stone varies in veining and tone. Treat images as an indication of the selected finish, not a promise of an identical pattern.
How do I choose a table beside low seating? Compare both the top height and usable footprint with your chair or sofa. Explore lounge seating or get expert advice with the intended layout.
Are these original designer pieces?
No. These are independently offered Madorne interpretations, not original designer pieces or authorized editions. Designer and model names identify the design references, not affiliation or endorsement.
